It’ll be an emotional afternoon for both human and beast on Nov. 7, when pilots from the Wings of Rescue charity fly the lucky pooches into YVR’s south terminal to meet their new families, said Susan Patterson, founder of Vancouver-based Thank Dog I Am Out Rescue Society (TDIAO), which is organizing the event.
