TUCK is not a Thank Dog I Am Out Dog Rescue We are assisting his REhoming by raising his profile. While Tuck has some more recent behavioural issues – he can succeed in a single pet, adult family home. While he is located in Campbell River – transport can be arranged if a great placement is found.

Brief bio:

Tuck is 2.5 years old. He has become very very triggered by dogs and people when our kids are around/home. He is very over protective. He loves our kids to a fault. If we are anywhere and another dog is in view Tuck get can get extremely anxious.

When I’m out with him sans kids he is far more relaxed. He can be off leash and his recall is on point.We moved from Squamish to Campbell River 2022. Since moving he changed. He was never like this. We used to walk the kids to and from school. He was well socialized right from the get go. Around kids, adults, dogs. He had off leash plays daily at a dog park. We have another dog (7 yrs old), he has started to get possessive with her too.

We have tried 3 trainers and I’ve done lots of reading and trying different tactics.

TUCK is also the sweetest, snugglest dog I’ve ever met. He is about 35-40lbs. UTD on shots and neutered.He is so loved that this email is killing us to have to rehome him.

We feel that he would thrive with a mature, adult home.
