Times are tough for rescue dogs, and especially so for our #perfectimperfect pups. This week, we’d like to introduce you to Loki, a special dog in need of a new home.
Loki’s family situation has changed, leading to some new anxieties for him. He is a local BC dog looking for a loving home that can provide the stability he needs.
Here are some important things to know about Loki:
Vaccinated: Loki is up-to-date on all his vaccines.
Neutered: Yes, Loki has been neutered.
Travel Buddy: He loves car rides.
Anxieties: Loki experiences anxiety with changes in his routine.
Behavior: While he can be reactive on or off leash, he gets along fine with other dogs once introduced during a walk or in a familiar yard. He thrives on consistency.
Cats: Loki has never been around cats.
Children: Given the challenging environment, Loki recently gave a cautionary nip to a young child due to no fault of his own. It’s clear he needs a child-free home. We are firm believers that the adults should always be careful supervising interactions between dogs and children.
Loki needs a dedicated person who understands dogs, someone who can offer him the support, consistency, exercise, and stimulation he requires. His current environment is challenging, but with the right person, Loki can thrive.
If you’re interested in learning more about Loki, please contact his owners directly at [email protected]. Loki is located in North Vancouver, and adoptions are limited to within BC.
Loki needs that one special person who can give him the stable and loving home he deserves.
