FURBABY Food Bank 2023

“As 2023 begins to draw to a close we @thankdogiamout are laser focused on our 4th #FURbabyFoodBank to be held at the end of November 2023.

In 2022 Thank DOG I Am Out raised $10,000.00 and purchased our food bank items from our partners at Tisol/Pet Valu.
We recognize that the demand is greater this year . Keeping in vein with providing NEW UNOPENED, UNEXPIRED food and supplies for cats, dogs and little critters is going to cost us the same if not more.

Please join our Community effort by donating online (link attached), or by visiting the Tisol ARBUTUS store in Vancouver at 2738 Arbutus Street and purchase a bag of food to be distributed at one of our 3 locations.

In 2022 we were so proud to announce that we were able to provide over 500 families with brand new, NON expired, unopened dog, cat and small animal foods. We provided cat litter to those in need, dog coats, supplies and treats to dog owners and we provided anyone with a bunny , hamster or smallish animal with fresh hay, pellets and more.

None of theses provisions came to us for free.

We are so grateful to our @TisolArbutus street store for giving us a 25% discount on dog and cat food, but last year , after just one hour of opening the food bank we had distributed all of our supplies and scrambled to purchase all of the pet food off our partners @Safeway stores shelves to meet the demand.

2023 looks to be another year that we can help alleviate our local community with pending holiday costs. If we can provide enough pet food to those in need, allowing them to have those saved dollars to spend during the holiday season we are going to be extremely happy.
