Flight for Life / Media Coverage

On October 4th, 2014 Thank Dog I Am Out, in partnership with Wings of Rescue, became responsible for the largest cross-border dog rescue to date. Over 140 rescues were pulled from high kill shelters in Southern California, and placed into various foster homes around Los Angeles and Bakersfield where they were spayed/neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated and assessed for any behavioural issues. They were then flown from California to Bellingham International Airport, where their new fur-ever families from Vancouver, BC picked them up.

This is just some of the media coverage we received for this event:

Bless those people from flight for life for helping Susan and all the people from Thank Dog I’m Out . Only wish we had this here in Cold Lake Alberta. I would love to be involved in something like this. One day I will run a rescue here. I have been blessed to have adopted three chihuahua’s this year and two chihuahua’s three years ago. Plan to adopt more in the future. I have had tears more than once for those babies in california shelters and all i want to do is hug and kiss them and let them know that they are loved.
